At the Duke of Norfolk we have a hard working and dedicated staff charged with providing pupils with quality learning opportunities.  We have high expectations and are keen to move the school forward, building on our recent successes.  We all want to do the very best for your child and aim to provide a calm and caring atmosphere where children can learn happily together. In order to achieve this we believe that it is important to work in close partnership with parents and the community.  We believe that each child must be valued, and that our role is to provide the best possible learning opportunities.  This means valuing not only academic excellence but also social, emotional and physical development. We believe in fostering self-belief and the importance of creativity, investigation and exploration. If children think well of themselves it is easier to develop positive values of honesty, integrity, independence and respect for others.

The stars of our school are of course, the children themselves. Very few visitors fail to comment on their politeness, energy and enthusiasm! I feel very privileged to be working in such a purposeful environment.
